Garb Call

Howdy. I know, I know, I never post... but hey, I do when I need a favor! My sister is trying to come for Pennsic this year. If anyone is cleaning out old garb, I would love to have a bit extra for her to use (yes, we will be making bog dress stand-bys). She is shorter than I am (5'2" or 3" I guess), less hippy, more buxom - a petite medium. She sunburns, so I want to cover her up, but overheats and chills easily, so I need to figure out layers, and all of the rather underwhelming mosquito population will find her. Why, yes, she IS the frail flower of femininity that I am not. So I guess she will need footwear. For her tiny, size 5 feet - anyone have children's period looking shoes or sandles left over from when your child was 10 or so? ;-D

I know where there's a good bed warmer :) I don't think there is anything in the schedule yet.

Most deeply unfortunately, sis is MA'AM - married and absolutely monogamous - shame really, and it doesn't seem to run in the family (fortunately).

Hey, have a great time marshalling this weekend. I love this event, but am house shopping, and now don't know if I'll make it. My armor is not even ready enough for CA, which I need to get off my butt and change or it won't be ready for Pennsic. If I make it up to HRM, I will sit in the dappled shade and watch the world, and the fighters, swirl past. Ahh, really like that site.

Speaking of Pennsic, please save the middle Sunday early evening (before/earlier than the traditional Wenches party) - I have an as-yet unannounced ceremony that I would be honored to have you attend, and you might not hear about it through my normal information channels like Storvik.

I went one year - the products displayed and for sale were very interesting, I didn't get a chance to listen to any speakers. A lot of the people I know get a self-congratulatory air just from *attending* this festival! Uck, I am "into green" because it is logical, not because I Got Religion...
